Technically they would be correct. The assertion would ignore the realignment in the 1960s after LBJ supported civil rights legislation. He alleged quipped that “We’ve lost the south for a generation.” Wonder where those Dems went?
🤔

Trump raises new alarms, saying he wouldn't be a 'dictator' except on 'Day One'
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-raises-new-alarms-dictator-except-day/story?id=105416124

You gotta love this.
He keeps on delivering:
"They're poisoning the blood of our country,"
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-repeats-poisoning-blood-anti-immigrant-remark-2023-12-16/

From Mein Kampf:
“He [the Jews] poisons the blood of others but preserves his own blood unadulterated.”

Coincidence? Maybe. But, Trump did not back away when it became newsworthy. Lindsey Graham doesn’t care. “I could care less what language people use as long as we get it right.”

The more Orange Jesus speaks, the more popular he becomes. How many Republicans now wish they confronted him immediately after January 6th?

A suit to bar Trump from Colorado’s primary ballot was filed today. They are using the 14th Amendment to support their case. This may not be the case which reaches SCOTUS, but it appears an effort is being made to get the issue there quickly.
The Colorado Supreme Court says Trump cannot be on Colorado’s primary ballot. They supported the fact that Trump is an insurrectionist!

It will not be the final word on the matter of course.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel was repeatedly urged to resign after celebrating Christmas on social media.
....
The seemingly innocuous posts from McDaniel, the niece of outgoing GOP Senator Mitt Romney, resulted in a furious backlash from conservatives on X, including a number of supporters of former President Donald Trump's MAGA movement.
Now I'm confused. MAGA supporters are against "Christmas"? Isn't that the sort of wokeism that they hate?

Trump cannot deliver closing arguments at NY fraud trial, judge says
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...ents-at-ny-fraud-trial-judge-says/ar-AA1mLqJ4

No surprises here. Everyone knows he wouldn't be giving closing arguments, he'd be giving a campaign soundbite.

But if I had to say something good about him, it's that I envy his confidence on being such a public speaker where a judge would be scared of what would happen if allowed to speak. It's too bad he isn't a public speaking coach, he could probably make a legit living that way.

Surely, he will push his legal team to appeal u to te Supreme Court... yet, I think therein lies a danger, too. If the country's top court does state that the ruling of a single state's decision is correct, more states will likely follow suit. And if a candidate can't run in, let's say, five or ten of fifty states, he is out of chances to win.

He is, so to say, FIRED

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this mean that even if he is banned from every single primary, it might not even matter?:
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nevada-2024-republican-primary-ballot-trump/

All it takes is for enough states to opt for the GOP-sanctioned caucus, and he could get the nom, right?
And despite all these court decisions, I don't see anything about him being banned from the actual presidential election should he get the nom.

Again, please correct me if I'm wrong.
