NFL '20 Season Thread

Whoa Shit! Yeah, I checked out the score right before your comment and saw that your Raiders did actually WIN, Sarcasmo.
2-0 !!! Dayyyyy-Um! Looks like your season is not in jeopardy after all.
Could they be on their way to an undefeated season and a Superbowl Championship?
And then thers the Pats in Foxboro off a loss Bill's hardboiled defense mind making me nauseous. If it's close I won't sweat the outcome but I hope they don't go out there unprepared west to east nevers travels as well as east to west I think.
Check this f,ed up stuff - I meant to take Jerrick McKinnon on waivers and I took JD Mckissic. Can't put in waivers high anymore. Dropped Tannehill for that.

Nnnnggg, maybe it's not Bill's hardboiled defensive mind making you nauseous.
Maybe it's his infamous Cutoff Sleeve Hoodies? :ROFLMAO:

Ehhh, you shouldn't worry about the Pats. No more Brady. And no more Gronk, right? They've been neutered.
Didn't the Pats also have several players opt out?

Fuck! The Cowboys keep getting injury after injury. They already played with a makeshift OL against the Falcons with the two Tackles being green undrafted free agents. And as if they didn't already have various other injuries, now one of their starting Corners is gonna be out some weeks. 🤬

I guess the Cowboys will just have to score 50 points just in case the Seahawks score 40.

Bill's a badass a cheater sure but hes the cranky genius who will get 11 towel boys and trainers to compeet. Even when hes low on talent hes dangerous. I can almost hear him laughing trying to say we'll make Carr beat us. boys have a good setup for the playoffs if they can keep it together the rest of the nfc east is so meh. I hate to sayit but the hawks with that new safety they're pretty good this year maybe not the old D but not a sh*tty one either and Russ is cooking

You're probably referring to Jamaal Adams the new Seahawks Safety. The Cowboys had been rumored to be looking into acquiring him I think even since last season. But, I think management decided Adams didn't have enough stud power for what the Jets would want in return ... probably a #1 pick. I don't know what Seattle gave in return. Then again, maybe Seattle got him as a free agent once the season was over.

It's that the Cowboys are still very leery about pulling the trigger on opportunities like this ever since they were burned several years ago when they got Brandon Carr from Kansas City. He was supposed to be a stud with Kansas City, so they gave him a huge contract. But, with the Cowboys he just ended up being "very solid & dependable," but NOT the stud they paid for. Doh!

Haha! CBs and safeties can burn a team in FA cause how much of how good they are is there pass rush and scheme etc I remember Nnamdi Asomugha (had to look up his name) there was a safety too, huge FA signing safety frrom the Rams I think, a few years ago. Guys in their prime at the position and get paid to sign somewhere else and flop they come down to earth in someone else's scheme tho I admit there are some guys that can take there game anywhere and Adams seems like one.

Yeah, historically most players who go elsewhere for a huge payday (the size that their ego tells them they deserve) ... never live up to that contract.

Interestingly enough, after 5 years with the Cowboys, that Brandon Carr of which I spoke left for a big payday with the Ravens. After 3 years with the Ravens, he's now BACK with the Cowboys ... on the Practice Squad, tail between his legs and no doubt with a much smaller paycheck. :ROFLMAO: Well, Brandon will probably be promoted into the roster this week because of starting Corner Chidobe now being injured.

Yeah, those who can kick ass anywhere regardless of scheme are in the minority.

wet fart Thurs game I had Minshew starging over Ryan and Rodgers in 2 leagues (bad hunc but I wasn'tthe only one) Cam and Tanehill going in my other leagues but almost mo one is consistent scoring this year. Weird year now football Antonio Brown to Houston good fit actually if he ever plays again

COVID-19 hits the Titans hard:

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Titans had three players and five personnel test positive for COVID-19.

Which sucks.. TEN plays vs. PIT this week. Both of my FF teams have PIT QB, and one has RB J. Conner and D. Henry!! Gonna have to dive into my bench / depth this week.

Bummer it's been a few weeks now and the NFL seems to have a grip on things hopefully they keep it contained and everybody gets over their flu if its not asymptomatic to begin with I haven't had to use my injured res slots yet goo luck!

I think I'll quarantine myself from the disease of tonight's football "game."

The Broncos win the Toilet Bowl in a game marked by yawns and occasional lapses into coma. After the game Greeny on ESPWhen made a hilarious diatribe and appeal to Trevor Lawence NOT on behalf of his favorite "train wreck"---the NY Jets. HAVE A LISTEN.

Uh, oh - Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19 ON SATURDAY!! Big game vs. KC postponed to Mon or Tues (or later..)

Patriots placed QB Cam Newton on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Newton is out at least this week but can come off the list when healthy. For now, no other Patriots player has tested positive, and their Week 4 game against Kansas City is scheduled to be played. There's still some fallout to come as New England awaits guidance from the NFL. The Patriots will likely turn to Brian Hoyer, with Jarrett Stidham backing him up if they play this week.

I was looking for a excuse to sit Cam any way now Jared Goff has to Dodge coronet.

Oh, boy!! COVID has now also hit the New Orleans Saints:

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports one Saints player tested positive for COVID-19 following the team's flight to Detroit Saturday night.

Testing is currently ongoing around New Orleans' organization after said player, whose name has yet to be disclosed, was on the team's flight to Detroit ahead of Week 4. Fantasy players should prepare for another possible postponement in light of this news. We'll have further updates for this ongoing story once they are available

FALSE positive; NO game is still on:

Saints FB Mike Burton and RB Alvin Kamara returned negative COVID-19 tests as did all other Saints players.

This means their game versus the Lions will play as scheduled. Burton returned a positive test last night and came into close contact with seven players prior to the test. Burton himself returned a negative test this morning meaning his first as a false positive. All other Saints returned negative results this morning as well. A positive test for Burton likely would have canceled their matchup with Detroit. Keep Kamara and Kenny Golladay safely in your lineups now that the Saints' scare is over.

Levar Burton's anus is so stretched out you can time travel inside his black hole. He just got a tramp stamp of a maximum occupancy sign.
