Conspiracy...
I hope it comes soon.

Bills, lottery tickets, I'm not sure what else.

I just heard that this $600 is just an advance on next years tax refund...I dunno if it's true, I'm to lazy to look it up right now. But my girl is on the net a lot so she may have seen it somewhere online...

If this truely is the case, then fuck it! I don't want it! I like my tax money at tax time! But since it probably is just an advance, guess I'll just pay off bills with it :(

You are absolutely correct sir. This check is just going to be an advance on next year's filings. That means that some people that originally wouldn't have had to pay anything next year will now have to. So don't be so quick to go out and just blow all the money you receive. You might need to have it in the bank, so you can pay the government in 2009.

You are absolutely wrong. The tax rebates are not an advance of next years refund. That was the case in 2001 but not this time. I hard to prove something in the negative but you will not find a reliable source saying it's next years refund.

It's part of his plan. There's going to be a recession regardless. Shit is gonig to hit the fan, and in a big way. This is just the beginning of it. He's trying to sucker everyone into trusting him by giving them a rebate. Which in turn will throw the government into a recession, and they will have to do the same shit they did when the stock market crashed and brought out a depression. And of course the Federal Reserve Bank will be gladly handing out money to help out, at interest, further putting the States into debt. Next they will introduce the Amero, praise the "war on terror", raise more bullshit lies about that, get more money directed toward the war "efforts", waste much more time, and assimilate most of the United States of America. They will look to Canada for support, in which our idiot leaders will comply, since they're hurting in the manufacturing department, and need an easy out. The agreement for the implimentation of the Amero will be two thirds(2/3) complete, and all attention will then be focused on South America to join. Which will be easy anyway.

This will be the beginning of a one world currency, which will make borderless countries, bring down the U.N. and make it possible for human rights to be obscurred.

Welcome to the beginning of a global domination by immoral facists who want nothing more than money.

Well, there's been talk of the Amero and a one world currency, so why wouldn't they try it? Look it up and see for yourself.

I doubt I'll actually get the check since I'm not living on US soil, but have to give Uncle Sam his dues each april 15th. If I do get it...it'll probably go towards new kitchen appliances I still need for the new house, a new PC, or a coffie table if it ever gets here. ;-)

Looked it up. Thought about the recession. Figured that saving it is sorta like putting 5 dollars into a savings in 1990 and fast forwarding to 2010 and realizing that after inflation and horrible interest rates.. you still have jack shit.

I'll be buying nonsense. Add my tax return to the mix and I'll complete my minibar. Probably invest in an unregistered firearm to ward off looters when it all bottoms out, the bombs fall and roving bands of hooligans led by Danny Trejo wander America searching for live humans to eat and copulate with. The earth will be scorched and the sky blacked out. We'll eventually go underground and start the long process of rebuilding. But with legos. And whiskey. ;)

P.S. Did I really just type that?

Yeah there's been talk of the Amero. On a bunch of lunatic websites. I searched for it and it has as much credence as the sites claiming the moon landing was a hoax and the ones professing to have proof of aliens via Roswell and area 51. Now start taking your meds again and you will be able to resume life as a productive member of society.

Pay off my modest debts.

Buy and plant some trees, since it's not like Dubya is going to announce some big, federally-subsidized tree-planting program for any reason.

Donate to a liberal Dem, a Green, or some leftist troublemaker.

And just on principle (against the "family values"/Christian-faith-based-initiatives b.s.), I think I should spend some of the money on porn.

And an atheist prisoners charity.

With the rising gas prices 600 bucks should be just enough to fill my car up (I have a H2).

...fortunately, no one else will be needing that gas, so go right ahead - as long as you can afford it, that's all that matters.

Enjoy your awesome truck!

Paying off a chunk on a credit card. Or it goes into the gas tank as a nice little tax break to Big Oil....

Wouldn't it be easier if Dubya just showed up at Big Oil's headquarters, climbed out of his limo puffing on a stogey and simply handed Big Oil CEOs cash in paper bags? Does he really need to carry through the charade of "giving back to the tax payer" and "encouraging a spending spree?"

It's sad that all these retailers--like WalMart, JCPenny, Macy's, etc.--are putting these elaborate "Come spend your rebate with us!" campaigns...don't they realize that people are going to spend this money on "sustaining basics" like gas, milk, butter? Or the smart ones will pay off a chunk on a credit card?? I mean..seriously..I don't know anyone in my RL world who is planning on heading to Best Buy this weekend to go on a binge...

Great points, titsrock.

I just thought that I might also spend part of mine on sending a few boxes of big, hard pretzels for Dubya (you might recall he's enjoyed them before) and some high-fat sausages to Cheney the Dick - gobble 'em up and enjoy every artery-clogging bite, Big Guy!
