what was the worst pain you've ever felt?

Marlo Manson

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I got 2nd degree burns on the bottom side of one hand and the sides of a couple fingers and my thumb when I was around 12 - 14 yrs old..

I have had the pleasure of experiencing 3 or 4 absessed teeth; very; very painful; almost had me crying and I never cry; except for my fathers and grandfathers funerals.. 1st time it happened; worst part came after dentist was closed for the day.. smoked weed; drank liqour; took pain meds; still had excrutiating pain; unable to bear it any longer; I went to the emergency room; they cut my gums open and started squeezing out the infected yuck that was swelling my whole face; man I thought I was gonna die or pass out from that pain..

once not while fixing an absessed tooth; but a cavity or a filling? the dentist was drilling one of my teeth and the area wasn't numb enough and I could feel it from that nerve in my tooth all the way down to my toes.. it hurt like hell..

I also have heart issues and have felt very unpleasant chest pains that just about have stopped me in my tracks wondering if was about to die..

When my shoulder was ripped open. Actually, I didn't even feel it, but I was scared shitless when I looked down and my white t-shirt was totally red. Happened in 7th grade. I have a big scar left on my shoulder to this day.

I was in the hospital when I was 23, I was in a comma and dieing. The doctors had know idea what I had so they did exploratory surgery, they did not use or not enough anesthetics because of me being in a comma and I felt the every thing!

^oooh, that sucks! Sorry that happened to you fresno.

I was in dance class one day, and felt an excruciating pain in my abdomen. A few seconds later, I passed out on the floor in a pool of my own blood. I hadn't had a period in 4-5 months, and everything came out at once. The doctor said it might have been a pregnancy gone awry, but since I had irregular periods anyway, I wouldn't have noticed I was pregnant (as flighty as that sounds).

Yep, I had a root canal and the tooth wasn't numb enough and I felt the drill...very painful!

I don't know if it's genetic or not but both my father and me were resistant to the pain killers dentist give you and it could never fully get rid of the pain when we were worked on either.

Excuse me for a moment while I pass out from reading Sputnik's response...

For me...the leadup to my Appendix operation was painful. My right side hurt so bad I couldn't stand up straight. I think I know what it feels like to take a bullet in the gut...

at 14 iwas in a severe car accident and broke both legs in several places after 3 months in traction learning how walk again was worse than the actual trauma but it paid off in the end and i walk fairly well today.(actually the worst pain was the catherization but thats annother story i would rather not discuss)

The worst pain I ever had was when I was 6 and 8 years old. Both incidents involved me riding my bike and crashing. The first time I almost tore my knee off my body and the second I scraped my face off the edge of a brick wall. Now getting novocaine shots in my fingers after I cut them to the bone hurts like a bitch, but nothing compares to those bike accidents.

The mental pain after my bycicle-accident. A pick up truck hit me from the right side. A was almost dead, my parents had to say goodbye befiore the 2nd surgery-operation. After 2 wooks, I woke up at the IC and realizing something had happened. After a few days, my parents told me what happened to me and it took me a few weeks ro realize what the consequenses were for a partly paralized left leg and arm.

First, all you can think of is "why?" Then, with the suport of your relatives and friend, you realize that they have been there for you and you have to fight to come back in the real life. Fight, fight and fight.
You can't do it alone, but withe the help of many, I managed.

The worst pain however, is not the pain that I can't walk like a normal person or ran like Carl Lewis;), but the pain of just kicking against a ball with my 2 little nephews (6 and 4 years old) and small things like that.

I don't feel sorry for myself: "life will go on" and if I feel sorry, there a great friends to help me.

Stay possitive, think possitive!

Regards,
Eric

ok i haven't a problem with physical pain.. i've been shot in the abdomen and it burned like hell but it felt good \ i remeber when the cop and parmedic were like doesn't it hurt.. no. i've been in fights, been punched and kicked and heres a kicker i've been on Dialysis for 15 years. and besides physical pain feels good to me.. am i weird ? but i hate that other kind of pain.. such as a broken hearts, being called stupid or useless. even a death in the family hurts worse than a root canal. mental pain to me is more scarring than physical. 'nuff said

Ive heard that the worst pain a man can feel is if his balls get tangled up and twist around each other. Ive never actually experienced this so I couldnt tell you if its true.

Dental pain is always agony.

The pain caused by an abscess [on the top row and second tooth in on the right hand side]. I put up with it for nearly a year and a half. I am terrified of dentists so I am due to some fuckstain bastard that used to be this village's dentist years ago [I live in the Scottish countryside]. He had a rep of being a butcher putting his knee on peoples chests to get better leverage to yank the teeth out. He even took one of my other teeth out and he kept twisting the devise from side to side trying to yank the tooth out. Eventually we heard a CRACK sound and the tooth came out... along with a bit of the bone that the tooth was sitting in. When the gum healed up a few days later, I thought it was fine, then less than a week after that the bone the tooth was sitting in started to come back through the gum and now when I run my tongue along it it just feels like a tooth but isn't as it isn't the same height as the rest on the top row.

This caused me to stay away from dentists for at least 15 years. And it was the reason why I suffered for around 18 months with the abcess pain. The pain was so bad that it felt like the whole of the right side of my face was going to crack open due to the pressure and pain the abcess was causing. I was at my wits end at one point, I was searching the house for a fucking pair of plyers so as I could pull the tooth out myself. Then when I found myself thinking this and in the middle of searching for plyers, I stopped and realised I would have to go to the dentist before the abcess got worse. The dentist woman that served me was a honey so she was [good looking] and she was as gentle as could be [besides the fact that the tooth in question with abcess was cemented into my skull]. I mean it took her the better part of 20 minutes to be done with it all. One bloody tooth to take that long to be pulled [but in a professional way and safe and careful way - unlike The Butcher and the way he would have delt with it]. All Dentist's should be like the woman that worked on my mouth, they should be lovely to look at and qualified to treat people, not pulled off the street and given a degree in dental surgery and left to get on with it.

I think they should bring in a sort of Porn Dentist. I mean imagine the likes of Aria Giovanni [or your own favourite] blowing you while you get your mouth seen to by the dentist. It would take your mind off the dentist lol.

Is somewhere outhere.
When I was 7 I had the unpleasant experience of having a
tooth extracted by a trainee dentist who fucked it up.

He bascically removed half of it,but because my gum swelled
that much,I had to wait another day before I could get the
rest of it out. That put me off the dentist for life, and the only
time I've been at a dentist since was 16 years ago.

Of course in the UK you have to pay for going to the dentist
now - I'd rather go to an S&M parlour and get my ass spanked

Got stung by a stingray in the top of my foot. Kept blacking out from the pain until the ER doc shot me up with Demerol. Aaaahhhhhh.

Was a lot more painful than rotator cuff surgery.

haven't had anything really bad so far (knock on wood :)).

the worst thing was a dislocated thumb from playing volleyball.
and once i burnt my feet in hot sand, so that i had giant blisters on top (not under !) of my feet.
wearing shoes was no fun for the next few days/weeks.
