My suggesting "Season of the Witch" was in sarcasm. Really, the more I think about the film, the angrier I get for wasting my time with it.

Not seen this in ages, really liked it. & the ending really got to me I have to admit.Defending Your Life--a fantasy/romantic/comedy with Albert Brooks, Meryl Streep and Rip Torn. Two people meet in an afterlife city where you are shown a good time, but while you're judged over your life. Rip Torn is really good, and Brooks is funnier than usual. Here's a scene:

Great stuff! Forms part of the Mick Travis trilogy which started with If & concluded with Britannia Hospital.I do like Malcolm McDowelll films.
And since A Clockwork Orange was not available on my cable provider.
I did see this 1973 Lindsay Anderson film, O Lucky Man! recently which was.
The music was written and performed by the ex-Animals keyboardist Alan Price.
