Wrong you are again Mariah. Birth magistrates represent the state and their laws. Judge Lu Ann Ballew was a victim of these same Tennessee laws. Her parents originally wanted to name her Priscilla but that was Elvis's wife's birth name. The same way in that Jed can be used as a first name for anyone except having the last name of Clampett. Since she already had sisters named Elly May, Emmy Lu, and Daisy, Lu Ann was her name when the gavel came down. Do a little research before starting a thread.
