Britney Spears won one too, what does that tell you. Only famous/over exposed artist are even considered for the awards. I dont really care much for them awardsa anwyayz, though congrats for ure band winning one.

The Grammys stopped being an award show for me when Jethro fucking Tull beat out Metallica for best metal album. That and the fact it's become so commercial. I'll stick to the end of the year lists from respectable music periodicals. They're more honest than the Grammys can ever hope to be. :2 cents:

Sorry, but Best Rock Performance should have went to Green Day for American Idiot. I respect U2 and think they are talented, but I don't think any song that starts out saying one, two three, fourteen should win an award.

Hell, Wilco won a Grammy for A Ghost is Born and I don't care. They should have won it for Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (their best CD ever) but the Grammys snubbed it. The Grammys aren't about the music. It's just a popularity contest. Seriously, Britney Spears beating out Basement Jaxx? Uh, I don't think so!
