Maybe they aren't so much into what the republicans do, as much as they hate what the democrats want to and have done, so they vote the lesser of 2 evils, in their opinion, and vote to block, not to support.

I covered the many issues aspect when I said everything Republican politicians say is a lie. And it is. The only thing on their agenda is protecting the wealth of the rich, it's been like that for decades.

It also shows how much they actually care about children. That's only something they pretend do when they need an excuse to control women, or to attack trans people.

On bright side this means they can spend even more on the military that is already more well funded than the other top ten countries by spending in the world COMBINED, half of which are our allies. Also, making up for those ever increasing tax cuts to the rich and to large profitable businesses isn't going to magically come out of thin air now will it?

The law will nullify ordinances enacted by Austin in 2010 and Dallas in 2015 that established 10-minute breaks every four hours so that construction workers can drink water and protect themselves from the sun. It also prevents other cities from passing such rules in the future. San Antonio has been considering a similar ordinance.

I do not understand how anyone can defend this. 10 minute breaks are allegedly too burdensome on businesses so that their workers do not die.

I would also point out I could have just as easily posted this in the thread about capitalism and made the same point.

This is country is hell on Earth.

I guess you haven't come across the indicted one -- Rep. George Santos (R - NY's 3rd) - that's ALL he does is LIE, CHEAT, and STEAL.
