We actually try to do the opposite of the shows you're referring to (Stern, etc), but good news: if you don't want to come watch it, or even listen to it when it goes up, you don't have to.
Also, the point of the show is to come see the people involved (ie porn stars and comedians), not just us. If we wanted you to come see people you've never heard of, we would not have booked anyone else and just been us two talking on stage.
Though Podcast does have its roots in latin, meaning self involved...

I'm not sure how to contribute in a way that would be worthy of the prize. Its not worth listening to the pod cast...cause well i dont do podcasts! I cant buy tickets cause airline food sucks...
At least let the guy who wins the prize be someone who deserves it. Instead of some noob who joined just to jump on the bandwagon and claim whats not been earned.

seems like a fun idea, but yeah, being on the other side of the country does hamper ones ability to try and attend. good luck with the show though.

The show sound like it could be funny, interactive and very entertaining. I would rather go in person to see the guests and comedians, (plus free beer lol) but the podcasts sound like a good idea also

How is this 'like a porn version of Howard Stern' when that's what Howard does whenever possible?
Seriously, I like the idea, 'specially for those of us thousands of miles away from where skin is in.
And including actual starlets. Can't hurt... Showtime or Cinemax had a show a month ago talking to a porn star and showing the industry and her life without the glitz of a skin flick or the dreck of an msnbc 'expose'...
I'm for anything to show that not all the people in the biz are cokeheads and sex 'addicts' or abuse victims.
And proving that fans of porn aren't drooling pervs who cannot string words into meaningful commentary.
And as to the question, why choose cats or dogs when both offer different... Companionship
