He's dead, finally. ;)

Talk about career politicians. We need term limits.

:hatsoff:

Don't have a gun, but I do own a few good knives.
Cold Steel Tanto always under my pillow.
Al Mar 3.5" folder always in my pocket.
Cold Steel San Mai Gurkha in my living room.

what do you fuckers have to say about it?

Guns serve no purpose other than to kill. Their utility is surpassed by the danger they pose when in the hands of the common man.

I can respect that. However, here in Colorado it's totally legal to carry open or concealed. I refuse to become a statistic. I prefer to protect myself and my family if need be. And yes, the Make My Day Law is a good thing.

Protection from what? You're perpetuating violence.

I have the right to bear arms. That right cannot be taken away from me. It surely doesn't say that EVERYONE must bear arms. It simply means as a citizen, I have the right to do so.

Eventually, this right will be taken away. Perhaps not in our life time, but eventually. Cooler heads will prevail. Those inclined to use weapons to cause harm will swing sticks and throw stones.

Because I am always prepared. Ever watch the news and hear about car-jacking? Robbery? Assault? And besides those mentioned... I also have the right to shoot and kill a man who is raping and or kicking a woman's ass. Just as I have the right (Make My Day Law) to shoot and kill ANYONE who is in my home without my permission. And by the way... yes, it is my constitutional right to carry, just as it is yours and everyone elses RIGHT to free speech.

Let me ask you a question....

1. Do you lock your home when you go to bed at night, or do you leave it unlocked?
2. Do you lock your home when you leave to go to work or on vacation, or do you leave it unlocked?
3. Do you lock your car when you go to the mall, a ball game, or do you leave it unlocked?

If you answered yes, that you lock them, why? Are you "a little paranoid?"

You don't have the right to kill anyone under any circumstances. Yes, we lock doors for protection, but not in anticipation of impending death. And certainly, having a loaded weapon on the ready to murder an intruder is not the answer.

Yeah, I remember reading a story about a guy who drove his car into a crowd of people and killed a whole shit load of them. If I remember correctly he was disgruntled because his wife left him. Hey I have an idea... let's ban all cars, kitchen knives, baseball bats, liquor, hatchets, saws, hammers, poisons, forks, skillets, swords, rope, etc.

Ya just never know when someone is going to freak out and kill someone. Better yet, let's ban freedom.. freedom to walk outside, to drive a car, to prepare dinners in the kitchen with your loved one... never know when one of them is going to get pissed off because the remote can't be found. Terrible shame if the guy goes ber-fucking-zerk on his wife with the knife that he was using to cut the onions with just a few minutes earlier.

Take this man's driver's license away for life and incarcerate him - simple. Mentioning 'freedom' to make your point is deplorable and so misguided.

Yeah, it's the guns.. not the criminals, gangs, thugs, etc.

Do you also blame the spoon and fork for the reason we have fat people in society? I own a lot of firearms. That doesn't make me a killer. I also own a guitar.. that doesn't make me a musician either.

Forks and spoons are eating utensils - virtually 'all' forks and spoons are used for eating. Forks and spoons therefore have a purpose which is 'good'; they do not exist solely to kill like guns do.

Oh, please do! Pretty please? I'll even wait for you to get sighted in on me before I draw my weapon.

You simply could have yelled "YEE - HAWWW!!!"

Wrong! Just one dead person. The moron. You see, I was defending myself from a crazed person who pulled a gun on me and shot at me for no reason other than "thinking" I was going to do harm to him. I simply acted in self defense. A person is not allowed to walk up to someone and crack their head open with a baseball bat simply because they "imagined" that person had bottle of sulfuric acid in his pocket, and was afraid said person was going to spike the punch.

One dead person, two gun-toting morons.

That's fine... that's your right to not own guns. I choose to own guns. Every gun except the one I carry daily is in a gun safe. You see, I am a responsible gun owner. I'm not some gangster wannabe who flashes his gun in public. I carry concealed, and at any given time, I bet there are people carrting a gun concealed where you are and you don't even know it.

You 'choose' to own a gun, and will use it to kill someone in self defence (perceived or otherwise) if and when the (perceived or otherwise) need arises. That in itself is irresponsible, Uncle Ned.

Thanks for that insight, Dad! You should run for congress here in the US, you would fit right in with the rest of the overly-protective, paternalistically sanctimonious creeps we've already got!

Glad we have a Canadian telling us how the future of our Constitution will play out. And yeah, you're probably right, the people who are predisposed to committing crimes and harming other individuals would probably stop using guns if the 2nd Amendment were done away with for fear of breaking the law. Good logic there.

What is then? And just for reference, the Castle Doctrine actually does give one the right to use deadly force during a home invasion, considering it lawful self-defense, and ultimately, justifiable homicide.

The only thing irresponsible on my part is not having more ammo. Right now I'm sitting on close to 7000 rounds. I need more. Although each one of my firearms are loaded and ready to go.

Sorry if I offended you PR, just my opinion. Now please put the gun down.

I'm not preaching to you as a Canadian. I'm giving you my view as a rational person. You cannot stop violence with violence - that's the logic. Deal with those people who are 'predisposed' to committing these crimes instead of permitting your population to arm itself.

Lock your door and call the police - it works.

Suppose an intruder breaks into your home. You shoot him dead. Castle Doctrine won't protect you're out for a walk and his vengeful brother comes calling.

Violence is not the answer.

Zombies? :dunno:

The term 'Zombie' is often figuratively applied to describe a hypnotized person bereft of consciousness and self-awareness, yet ambulant and able to respond to surrounding stimuli.

Here's one on a motorcycle:

Note: they are actually quite harmless when you take their guns away.

I have several handguns, a couple of rifles and a shotgun. When the zombies attack, I'm fuckin ready ;)

I heard our socialist atheistic-muslim Kenyan-in-chief would suspend the 2nd Amendment & take away everyone's guns.
Has that happened yet, or were those perpetuating that myth just a bunch of lying moonbats?

Surely you noticed my sidearm... That would be my Springfield XD-45. With or without it, I'm harmless to the population. I only carry it to defend myself. What part of that DON'T you understand?

If I'm downtown and a thug pulls a knife on me and wants my wallet, he's going to die.... from lead poisoning.

Living in the UK I don't really need one, the only times guns are normally used is by bank robbers or gang on gang violence. I've posted a number of stories on Freeones where gun owning law abiding citizens have gone on a killing rampage after something bad happens in their lives, you may buy a gun for defence but come home and find your wife has left you, you've lost your job, you're bullied at work or you lost your homes then in that moment of anger that weapon can pretty easily be used to kill a load of innocent people.
You don't need a gun to go on a killing rampage, a '74 Olds will work in a pinch! ;) :rofl2:
I seem to recall posting stories of a guy who went on a killing spree because his work schedule got changed and another guy because his wife burnt his breakfast eggs
But that's just two incidents among how many million people?

Uly, there is no perfect world. ;)

I thought that guns were forbidden in the district of criminals? :p

Because if you kill him .... then you're a murderer.

Hey Poindexter, they don't call it that in my neck of the woods. It's called self defense. Now, if I were like you and I was walking along and that same Perp came up to me, and knifed me... took my wallet and ran away, then HE would be a murderer, and will likely murder again, and again. Where as I will NEVER murder a person. I will defend myself yes, but I will never do harm to an innocent person.

We practice self defense where I live as well. But we don't kill perpetrators, and we're doing just fine.

There's no excuse for your way of thinking in a truly civilized society. Mindsets like yours are disappearing - you're victimizing yourselves with your own meaningless, trivial bullshit. Living on a 'great frontier' long gone and waging war on invisible demons and fears passed down to you.

All of us looking in at you scoff and smirk at your silly, shitty, immature, 'rebellious' fuckhead attitude. Focusing on shit that doesn't matter, when all the while your way of life is crumbling because you aren't smart enough to fucking realize it.
