The U. S. media is not reporting on Yemen. The number of battle hardened combatants the Saudis are facing in Yemen, would be hell for the U. S. military.

No it would be just like any other combat for the US, if the other side exposes itself the other side dies US combat troops are simply too well trained too well equipped and far too well supported for anything in Yemen to pose any real threat in open combat.

There would be losses of course but I point to Somalia when a few dozen green berets and a handful of delta force soldiers killed hundreds of Somalis with only a handful of losses. If they expose themselves to fire they are as good as dead.

Not to be mean but it is a fact : western democracies and their citizen want war but they cannot stand their people being killed. People want wars, as long as it's not their boys who's gonna fight there.
A western soldier's mom who's son comes back in a body bag is angry at the governmnt who sent her son to fight.
A jihadi's mom who's son is killed by a US drone is angry at the americans who killed her son.

Don't want war have been against everything from Grenada to Syria. I hate American citizens dying in foreign lands for the benefit of the rich and entitled but all this $$ we waste on our military has made it quite good at killing.
