Dude, seriously, I leave you alone mainly because I gives two shits. But is this the best you can fuckin' do? Are you truly under the impression that we haven't seen this exact same poll a thousand godamm times already?

And also, without taking myself too seriously, if I'm the one taking the time to point out lameness, it's pretty fuckin' lame. If you want us to take a minute to participate in your polls, then take a minute thinking up a decent poll.

A search of Freeones found that similar polls in the past involving these performers have been done as "pairs", mostly as Tori Black vs. Jenna Haze, but never as Tori Black vs. Jenna Haze vs. Sasha Grey, and certainly not Tori Black vs. Jenna Haze vs. Jenna Jameson vs. Sasha Grey. It has therefore been determined that the poll, as shown, is indeed an absolute first here at Freeones!

How would you rank the four in order of preference?

Cums here often!
How in the fuck can Tori Black, jenna haze, and Sasha Grey be considered legends, they just got out of the industry within 5 years. LOL!

Ever heard of the term "living legend"? It's sometimes used to refer to someone who over time has achieved an inordinate amount of success in their craft or has attained a certain amount of stature and is still active in that craft.

Lisa Ann is a great example of a "living Legend". Inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2013, she is still active in her porn career.

On the male side, Rocco Siffredi is a great example of a living legend. His career encompasses longevity and stature while maintaining top-level performance.

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
It's a bit of a strange poll to me in that Sasha, Tori and the Haze are all one particular body type and Jenna J was a completely different one. Having said that... Jenna, Tori and Sasha are all absolutely legendary to me, in that order, Sasha especially I find incredible to watch... but Jenna Jameson was the first and best pornstar in the history of me watching porn and absolutely stands alone in my affections. There are lots of pornstars I love, but she is and forever will be Number One.

Four powerhouse performers. Early results show very little separation in terms of popularity - makes sense.

It's often interesting to compare the no. of Google hits among performers, which essentially can serve as a sort of “chatter check”. Theoretically, the higher the chatter or "buzz", the more popular the subject matter searched.

Google Returns for each performer

Sasha Grey received 7,800,000 hits
Tori Black received 7,280,000 hits
Jenna Haze received 6,060,000 hits, and
Jenna Jameson received 4,350,00 hits

Jenna Jameson comes in a distant last primarily I believe for two reasons: 1) Her career is further in the past than
the other three performers, and 2)... perhaps the biggest reason - she has a much smaller catalog of DVD titles to talk about.

I googled Ginger Lynn and got 13,200,000 hits, now that's a legend.

Love me some Ginger Lynn, but you're "hits" number seems extremely high. Don't know what version of Google you're using, but searching in the exact same manner as I did earlier for Haze, Jameson, Black, & Grey (I used quotation marks), the query of "Ginger Lynn" returned only 1,890,000 hits.

I just searched Google and got 11.3 million. Where do I get your special version of Google Porn Mr. X?

xfire, bobjustbob:

Something I just discovered about google as a result of doing these searches...

Googling a name (for example) without quotation marks seems to introduce variability in the number of hits.
In the past 2 days alone, without the marks, I've gotten 3 different results for Ginger Lynn.
However, with them (i.e. "Ginger Lynn"), the number of hits has remained exactly the same, at 1,890,000.

The Google results only show linked and tagged results. It does not indicate the number of searches or hits. These links and tags could point to anything. I could create a banking website with 100 pages and add the tag <tori black> to it. Each page would get listed in the search results for Tori Black. Even if it never gets visited it still goes onto the list.

In other words, he's basing his rankings on faulty metrics. Not surprising, just as his HOF threads use sample sizes that aren't statistically valid, this thread is another meaningless waste of bandwidth.

The relative google returns for Jameson, Haze, Black, and Grey are certainly plausible.
Without question, there is definitely some relationship between popularity and Google hits, the question is only how much.

The somewhat small sample size, typical of these types of polls, may point to a lack of historical appreciation, which may indicate a younger demographic. Think I will introduce this poll in another/similar adult forum, comprised of members I suspect, on average, to be considerably older - the goal being to compare participation rates relative to potential voters (commonly identified as "views").
