Then they doctored his image to make him seem less black. That kind of manipulation is the antithesis of good journalism. That's why.

Really don't understand why people are making a big deal about the pictures the media are showing.

I wouldn't have a problem with the doctered (ONE) photo if the MSM didn't plaster what looks to be a mugshot of Zimmerman all over the place. This is the photo I've seen of him:

Also, the way they keep putting the kid's 12 year old photo right next to it is simply trying the case in front of the public. Unethical at the very least. I am not trying or convicting or saying I support or don't support either side, but it's blatant bullshit on behalf of the MSM.

There was only one picture I saw that was doctored. But maybe it was doctored because of the shading, or darkness from the hoodie. Isn't this done all the time?

No. But bombarding the media with five year old pictures from his prepubescent years and shopping a recent picture to make his appearance more palatable to viewers and make the shooter more unlikeable is not really journalism. At best it's tabloid sensationalism designed to incite the public. If I wanted to say I wish they would portray that idiot as a thug I would have written that.
