I'm somewhat at a loss when attempting to grasp what it is that you are trying to convey here. I'm posting on a pornography website. It's a thread discussing the outpourings of a balloon headed buffoon in relation to the latest 'nontroversy' concerning the Obama administration. I'm responding to the repetitive, ******ile, nonsensical, illiterate and personally insulting posts of Georges and you come on here like the style police at a fashion event to tell me I'm doing it wrong. You might be taking yourself a little too seriously. A bit.

I'm more than happy to post on here with footnotes and references to back up the points being made. I have indeed done so. Also, I have repeatedly asked to be pointed to just one article penned by any of the infotainment crowd that sets out a coherent argument and backs it up with relevant data. I've never had a reply. (Feel free to get me one peer reviewed article by Beck Hannity O'Reilly or Limbaugh - they must have 80 years of pontificating between there must be thousnads of brilliant articles out there.)I quickly realised that I was ******* in the wind. Consequently I have to tell you that when an adult comes on here who takes him seriously, I picture them wearing a big red nose, with a revolving bow tie and a plastic flower that squirts water. At the risk of seeming harsh, if you are so magnificently well read why are your posts so poorly written? For example you said this,

Mostly I read books on education because I have to. For fun I mostly read fiction. I did read a lot of books about political theory back in the day.

This man was in charge of the department where I studied. He gave the very first lecture I attended as an undergraduate. If you like I can recommend some of his work.

- jon stewart caught out fox (hannity i think it was) the other night - they were reporting a tea party event in washington, and using footage from an entirely different event to suggest more folks were there than was actually the case

finally, to say one think about georges - my understanding is that he is posting in his second language,

Guilty. It is not all it is cracked up to be. As a program it lives in the shadow of PPE at Oxford, which is thedegree to have for those in this field. I will tell you that it was 65/35 girls to boys and that because of the weird way Cambridge breaks down into individual colleges, my director of studies was based at Newnham College - which is an all girls college. That's right, for 3 years I did all my tutorials in a womens college. Golden times.
