Jesse Janes Dies, Age 43
Some extremely sad news to report, which we’re sure many of you are already aware of, that the iconic adult star Jesse Jane has died at the age of 43.
Jesse was found on Wednesday at her home in Oklahoma. At the time of writing, no official cause of death has been released and there have been no police statements regarding her passing.
Jesse’s work with Digital Playground on high budget films such as Pirates 2 propelled her stardom beyond that of the adult industry, with her becoming noted in mainstream media when she was featured prominently in the documentary series Porn: The Pleasure of Business and also in roles in several Hollywood studio films and TV shows.
Her death has come as a huge shock and has led to a large outpouring of condolences and fond memories from those who worked with her, and the many friends she made, from across social media.
Kayden Kross, who worked with her a number of times, remarked how Jesse, Kayden and Stoya became close friends through their Digital Playground contract work.
“Jesse, Riley (Steele) and Stoya were my contract sisters. There really was a family element at play that I still value to this day. We all wanted to be the favorite but we all had each other’s backs. We worried about each other and celebrated each other. I feel like I’ve lost a big sister from a time in my life that is one of my fondest memories.”
