Wolverine's OCSM of the Year (Not that Anyone Cares) 2015 edition preview

Here it is again folks for the 6th Year in a Row: My genuine pick for who should be given a crown for Miss FreeOnes. I tabulate post counts all year long and keep tabs on who's active and who's not here on the boards. It's been an awful quiet year this year. OCSM activity and new OCSM joins are down several notches from years past. Many ladies have simply moved on to their own website interactions or have simply taken up interaction with their fans directly with cam shows and Skype shows, etc. This contest has seen its fair share of change - including the absence of a Miss FreeOnes contest this year for the first time that I can remember on this site.

Anyway, here is a look at our previous years' winners:

These ladies are ineligible for this year's contest and automatically go on to Wolverine's Miss FreeOnes Hall of Fame for their efforts and timeless participation. Bare in mind, these five ladies still continually interact here at the boards and continue to be favorites among us who troll, lurk, and post around here. I believe it's a true reflection of my selections each year of representing all the best of the interaction that happens here.

Rules
1. To be eligible, the ladies must have accumulated at least 150 posts on the boards
2. They must have remained active for at least 10 months in the calendar year, giving them two months to not post anything if they wished. If they went more than 3 months, they were put on the inactive list and disqualified from eligibility.

Of the 640 listed OCSMs claimed by the FreeOnes homepage, so far only 16 ladies this year qualify for the final prize announced by me on December 31. The Top 10 in the running this year for OCSM of the year are:

Sabrinas Stockings has come out of nowhere this year to garner such a huge post total. Bare in mind that I have not had a chance to look at all those posts to see if they are spam are not. I keep those things in mind when I go to make my final announcement on Dec 31.

One of my other categories that I keep track of is Best Newcomer. We've had several new ladies sign up this year and they are most welcome. Again, the only requirement for this category is to have at least 1 post this year and to be active from the date of sign up.

Wooooooo! Tough standards, qualifications, criteria. So tough that it sounds like it's probably tougher for an OCSM to qualify for OCSM of the Year than it is for them to become a Navy Seal. :1orglaugh But seriously, it makes for a VERY select group. :yesyes: I'm certainly familiar with 9 out of those 10 and must say they've worked hard and certainly deserve to be in that Creme de la Creme group. :bowdown:

I definitely like Jeny Smith as the Top Newcomer. :drawheart:

I've heard as much from others. I'll check it out. She might not win because of it. Vicky Vette continuously gets dropped from the list, too because of spam posting and someone else posting links/pics for her. I confirmed as much when I was a mod a little while back.

I think a large part of the reason for many of us OCSMs not posting as much over the last year is largely attributed to a lack of decent threads to chat on. Most of the threads are about who has the best pussy, prettiest face, biggest booty, nicest asshole, etc. or silly threads involving things such as expired foods, farting, and the like. Not only have a lot of ladies stopped posting, but board activity for regular members has declined as well.

It's kind of sad. I would love to post more, and I still do whenever I see something interesting, but it's just a bit discouraging with such low activity. I am hoping that with time, the board will pick up again.

There's not much to expect from a porn forum, to be completely honest. The asinine posts and the best body part posts are pretty tame compared to some of the shaming and trolling I see elsewhere and have seen here in the past. I tend to stay away from political and religion posts, as most of the time, people aren't out to have an honest discussion but are trying to convert others to their points of view. Other than that, I don't really know what else there is to talk about openly on a porn forum other than the "what will you do/won't do," "what's your fav. scene," etc. I think there is a big glass wall between performers and the consumer alot - most of that having to do with the consumer and more than the performer. How to do talk openly, honestly, and humanely to someone you'd otherwise just feel is a sex object? It's a tough line. I always opt for the idea that sex workers are people, too. Porn just happens to be there job. Some love it and some don't. The cool thing about FreeOnes and with the OCSMs here is that most of them that I've interacted with have talked to me as a person and aren't trying to hustle me into buying a subscription or a scene or something. They know me that if I like them and feel it's worthwhile, I'll pay for it willingly without the hustle. I've been on the other side of the fence as a photographer on the fringe of the adult industry for a very long time. I know the game. Don't pretend to be my friend when all you want is my money. Either be my penpal on here and we can chat as two adults or not. Sorry if I sound a little jaded. I'm not out to show you my cock or even to try and have sex with you. I come here for enjoyment and interaction. The OCSMs just make it look beautiful, IMHO.

Yeah. I like twiddling my thumbs online. It gives me something to do. I've been spending a lot of time over the last few months posting on reddit, fetlife, and Twitter. I initially went to each of them with the idea that I could post pics and get my name floating around, but have found that I prefer to just talk about different things in various categories. Which is why I liked FreeOnes Talk. It's supposed to be for talking about various odds and ends of topics, but has transformed into who has the best such-and-such, so I don't post as much. I could spam pics, which I do sometimes for the fun of it, but meh... That's not what keeps me sticking around.

It is sad that there's no contest this year, but that's ok. Hopefully someday I mean, the time spent working on it and money doesn't come from thin air, so it's totally understandable taking a break.

As of current review today, with 29 days left in the competition, Sabrinas Stockings has been disqualified from the competition for posting links/spamming the board with no actual interaction with the fans here. I was able to go through 3 pages of link posts her account placed yesterday.
