Widespread Calls for Mental Health Support After Kagney Linn Karter Death
Widespread calls for industry support relating to mental health are being made following the news of the tragic death of Kagney Linn Karter.
Kagney is reported to have died as a result of suicide and is the third high profile death in the industry in the last several weeks. She is reported to have struggled with severe mental health issues in the last few years especially.
In response, social media has been flooded with calls by performers and those who work in the adult industry for more help with mental health to be made available to sex workers.
Some have called for a special service to be set up that is specifically geared towards sex workers and the issues they face.
Clearly there needs to be a change and for more help to be made available. Kagney was a widely loved and delightful woman who will be missed enormously by everyone who knew. Our condolences to her family and loved ones.
