As you will almost certainly have read or heard by now, it’s been reported that former WWE wrestler and later adult performer Chyna has been found dead in her apartment. She was 45.
Chyna hit the heights of popularity in the late 90s as she established herself as arguably the most dominant female performer in WWE history, also becoming the first and only woman to the win the company’s Intercontinental Championship.
However, a falling out with management and several broken relationships led to her breaking from the industry, finding a home in porn where she shot a number of movies.
Recent years have been plagued by stories of ill health and depression, attempts to re-connect with the WWE in an attempt to earn a Hall Of Fame place that she truly deserves, and a general disconnection from public life.
However, she left an indelible mark on the world of professional wrestling especially and was an unforgettable performer and athlete. Everyone at FreeOnes passes on our condolences to her friends and family.
