Enter the world of "Simmer Down," a show about the dysfunctional life behind the scenes of a cooking show. When young director Lucas Applebaum becomes the new director of the failing cooking program "Tony's Show," he finds himself thrust into the insanity of the cast and crew's personal lives. With dim-witted camera man, Richard, slacker writer, Hector, manic former TV star, Gomez and high-strung, demanding host of the show, Tony to contend with, Lucas realizes he's gotten himself in way over his head.
