While I don't support the original poster's idea about outlawing anal, anal is pretty damn stupid considering it's gone way too far, has gotten waaaaaaaaay to pervasive, and is one of the long list of things that have screwed up porn in the last 10-15 years.
How anal is considered erotic is beyond me. How it's even considered mindless beat off material is even beyond me. Seriously, I can't see why anybody would like it. It makes as much sense as sticking it in some woman's ear. I would rather gawk at the ugly women in the lingerie section of the Wal-Mart promotional flier than watch the most attractive women in the world do anal. It's perceived popularity in the industry is probably indicative of the stupidity of the really fanatical porn fans or maybe just a bunch of people that never were able to grow out of their juvenile frat boy phase.
While technically one could argue that you just don't have to buy anything with anal in it, or you could just skip over it, it's become pervasive enough that it makes me never want to buy the vast majority of new stuff, even if I might want to otherwise. Yes, technically I could just skip over those parts, but why would I want to buy a product where a huge section of it's not only something I don't like, but is a huge turnoff. It's like paying for half of what in it. This isn't like in the past where it was an occasional occurrence and people bought it because of that. It's getting to the point where one has to go to significant effort to avoid it. Not only that but I tend not to like adult stars once they start going down that path. It's enough to make me quit being a fan of them. Most of them don't do it because they like it, they do it as a last gasp effort to keep their popularity for a marginal amount of time and keep the bit of cash for just a little while longer. It's an act that tries to make up for a failing they have not something that makes them better. When somebody that didn't do anal before starts it's a pretty good indication that their careers are going into their twilight, and their fifteen minutes of fame are ticking away quickly.
We have enough idiots in the very vocal small minority of men that make women think most men like women with ridiculous sized implants and facial surgery (or other non boob job surgery) that does nothing but fuck them up, when it's completely false. The people that constantly scream for a performer to do anal or interracial or one of the many other circus acts are just as bad.
What even dumber is the way the industry has gotten where a lot of people are rejected if they don't even do anal from the begging.
