Is Michael Bay as talented as Terrence Malick?

Two completely different styles that can't possibly be compared.
Malick's movies tend to be more introspective,while Bay just blows a bunch of shit up.
I know that Bay get's a lot of shit for his Transformers movies,but I actually like his earlier stuff,like The Rock,and both the Bad Boys movies.
Malick is just on another level though.The Thin Red Line, is such an underrated movie just because Saving Private Ryan came out at the same time.

Bay is good at putting asses in seats and making a lot of money with his movies and the merchandise that spawned from his movies. It's arguable whether he's good at making action films or bad. I'll leave that argument for others to debate because I honestly don't give two shits about it. But Pearl Harbor proves that Bay is NO artist. I'd watch Days of Heaven any day of the week than Pearl Harbor.
