Does anyone else just really hate porn interviews?

In my years, I've seen quite a few of them and they are almost all the same. Particuarly among podcasters and YouTubers. The interviewer(s) are almost always super unprofesional, more concerned with getting into the actresses pants than any kind of meaningful discussion, the questions are surface level sex talk as if no one knows what this person does on camera, and that's not even getting into how quickly it becomes a dogpile and everyone starts speaking over each other. They say porn is degrading, I feel like being forced to talk about it as if you're some airhead is much worse.

Usually the best ones are when it's a woman doing the interview because then it's not a "say dirty words and then giggle" contest.

I don't hate porn interviews, but personally, I am just not into them myself. If I want to know about a particular porn performer, I am usually able to locate enough information on her by a Google search. However, if the interviewer is professional and asks great questions - then sure, I would listen to the interview, depending on who the female is that's being interviewed.

I'm pretty sure that Fetish/BDSM studios do before & after interviews for legal reasons, i.e. to show that everything went on was consensual. Kink will literally get the sub to go over safewords & procedures during the interview.

That said, there was an infamous shoot where, despite these interviews and the actress seeming "happy" during the post-shoot interview, she retired soon after and even lamented about the shoot.

Supposedly August Ames' self deletion was related to a rough scene she shot, with .. Markus Dupree. If the starlet says she did NOT consent to what was filmed, she doesn't get paid - as the producer now can't use the content. Me-thinks the starlets are like, "Well, I just went through ALL THAT - and then I'm going to complain, and NOT get paid??" So they bite the bullet and say it was all good.

I was thinking of another star, but the fact that it can apply to more than one is kinda sad.

Now you got me thinking if this applies under the new JAV laws - like if she pulls consent before the film is released, would she get paid?

Agreed! Was just going to give Holly Randall a shout out! She's the best , and everyone should definitely donate a few bucks if you have the money to. Hope she keeps doing what she's doing. As well I really want to see Maria Kazi interviewed on there soon!!
