The incident occured 16 march 2013 in Caruaru /Brasil/.
Beautiful call girl Marta Maria da Silva /age 21/ arrived at the gas station arround 3 am and offering to have sex with guard worker Reginaldo Olimpio /43 age/.
After her job she left and returned a few minutes later with accomplices in a robbery attempt.
She began forcing the guard worker to deliver the key to a checkout.
Reginaldo Olimpio defended himself. He suddenly hit twice on her head with iron rod.
Young accomplices fled.
He later stuffed rags into her mouth and strangled her.
Guard worker dragger her body out and left under a truck parked beside the gas station.
In the second version of brasilian press , after sex inside a room in the gas station Reginaldo refused to pay her for a job.
They had a heated argument and call girl threated him about scandal.
So he hit her twice with iron rod and strangled her for good measure.
In the morning some locals found body and called police.
Reginaldo Olimpio was arrested that same day.

they need jobs & schools instead of robbing, and tourists should be taken into the poorer parts of Brasil to see how the real brasilians survive every day, not at the beaches protected by a lot cops.

Yes, but the exact same thing could be said about the United States. Do you think the average Japanese or European tourist has any idea of how people in Watts, the Bronx or Greenville, MS live? Even in very rich countries there are pockets of extreme poverty and crime. But what got several of us about this story was the overemphasis on her being "beautiful". And depending on which version of the story is accurate, it sounds as if she may have been engaged in a strong-arm robbery when she got smacked on the head with an iron rod. If that's the case, then I guess it just sucks to be her... ya know, dead and all. But anyway, what does her being pretty have to do with anything??? That's the part that confused several of us. :dunno:
